I have a contact in TN he has been restoring vintage cars for over 30 yrs, when I asked him he suggested ash machine and then soaked in a bath of old engine oil for a month, he also added that you may want to leave them stored on end for a further month to dry out. If my memory serves me right width is 5" x 1 1/2". I do have a pair for my PD and have to make a pair for my PE PU

Sorry, but I don't know a source for those wood sections that go between the body and the frame. . . Most people I've talked to about this (and there are not very many) made their own. I am not a wood worker and am not sure what wood would be appropriate.

Hi Folks,  Awhile back a guy on Ebay had wood rails that went between the frame and body of 34 coupes. I think he made them, but he only sold them on ebay and just once in a while. I can find his picture for them but there is no address. Anyone remember seeing them? Thanks,
