If I remember correctly, I've sold the car, there is a screw holding the metal part that screws onto the radiator. Around the outside is a rubber gasket that makes the seal. I replaced the dried out rubber by cutting a circle in an old inner tube that sealed just fine. Hope this helps.

I'm interested in what we have here, my 33 PD rad cap is 10 foot up in the air on my 2 post ramp, not sure if I will be able to get to it but will try in the next few days. Need to explain I have another ply under the ramp which I can't move right now, sorry I can't help at this time but I am thinking.

I am confused. . . The early PC had a hood ornament with the radiator cap under the hood, so that is not what you are talking about.

The PD and later PC (PCXX) had an external radiator cap that was integral, that is the flying lady did was the cap it did not bolt on.

Are you referring to the various bits and pieces that are held on to the bottom of the flying lady that form the seal, etc.? I believe they were once available in a radiator cap repair kit but don't know where one might find one of those nowadays.

Don Sommers (American Arrow) reproduces the radiator cap. They can provide one with the cap hardware or without. Perhaps they will sell you the attaching and sealing parts separately.
