53 fuel line replacement

I need to replace the incorrect fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump. By checking online and at an auto store, I have not been able to identify the right steel tubing and fittings to buy. As far as I know, I should be looking for 5/16 steel tubing that can be single flared. I already have a K&D flaring tool. I would like to know exactly what tubing and fittings I need to do this fuel line replacement.
