Check the Dynomax website.  they have several different styles, and volumes of aftermarket mufflers available.  Most independent muffler shops should alo be able to source something for you.  Imco is one of the larger makers of exhaust stuff they probably have one that is similar in design but quieter.

I purchased a Hy-Drive convertible that is stock except for the exhaust. It has a split manifold. There are two pipes going into a single large muffler and two pipes coming out. The body of the muffler is 16-3/4" long. An invoice that came with the car indicates it is an Imco. I need to have a shop replace this muffler because it is extremely loud. At idle it isn't too bad, but under load it sounds like no muffler at all. Also it has what I think is called "drone". I can't imagine anyone wanting a Plymouth flathead to sound like this. I hate it. I would appreciate any ideas on what brand of muffler would have a quieter sound.
