I was able to get enough penetrating oil on the inside handle and latch to finally get the door open today. From the serial number on the door pillar I have a P2 4 door sedan produced in Evansville.

If you can trailer your car to a good "mom & pop" locksmith shop, they can pick the lock and make a key or two for you.
Also, I think most of them will travel to you to do the job, but that would be more expensive.  Around here, the
cost to pick a lock and make a key for it is around $15.00 to $20.00.

I have just aquired a 1936 Plymouth 4dr sedan form an estate. I do not have any keys and the passenger doors are locked, they also will not open from the inside. The inside handle will move up and down but will not open. I am trying to get to the serial number on the door pillar. How can I get the door open without destroying the lock cylinder or the handle?
