'56 Plymouth heater hoses

Dick,
In the attached photo, it appears that the hose from the upper
heater location near the right hood hinge goes to the intake manidold,
just behind the upper radiator hose.  I cannot tell where the other
heater hose is attached.  There are several photos of 1956 277 V-8s
on the internet, but they all show only the driver's side of the engine.

On my '54, there is an "elbow" near the # 6 cylinder that connects to the "Inlet" of the Heater Valve.  The Outlet of the Heater Valve then connects to the Inlet of the Heater Core in the Engine compartment.  On top of the Heater Core the hose then connects to the Water Pump. 
Of course, all this applies to the Plymouth L-Head 6, but there must be a similar set-up for the V-8.  If you can get hold of a '56 Parts Book, that will have pictures that might help a lot.  Unfortunetly, my parts book only goes up to 1954.

on my flathead six there is a bow on the head behind Cyl 6 and a T - tube on the waterpump.

I am restoring a '56 Belvedere w/ a rebuilt 277 V-8. When the engine was re-installed, the mechanic did Not install heater hoses (or a thermostat) because the heater housing (in the engine compartment) had been removed for overhauling (which I did a few years later). Now I am ready to install the heater housing and heater core and hoses, but the sketch in the Service Manual is of no help. Where on the engine do I connect the Valve to Heater Hose, and the Heater to Engine Hose? A pciture or sketch would be helpful. Thanks. Dick Friedman.
