1939 P7 Temperature guage

I just want to say thanks for what you have on your site.  I've used your cross ref many times.  That temp gauge repair was one of many projects I've done over the years geting my 41 back on the road.  And I also been a subscriber to skinned knuckles ever since.  Keep up the great work.

Thanks Tod, I will learn to check your site before I jump the gun and go rambling on this site. Sorry about that, I didn't think about the fact that your site could cover newer vehicles. Not sure I can handle this but I will try.

I've already started doing parts cross references up through 1948 and I've been mulling over the possibility of re-branding it to something like "Pre-War Plymouth" and adding coverage to the 1938-42 model years. But my coverage of the 35-37 models is already a bit weak and I have many other irons in the fire.

A bit of advise needed/required here on the 1939 Plymouth P7.  My temperature gauge wire (Temp control from the block to the gauge) is broken. Is this wire replaceable? (Not sure what to call this item, brings the temp from the engine to the gauge)
Do I have to replace the whole gauge with the wire? fastened to it? Where do I find such an item? I didn't find it at Andy Bernbaums site.
