Earliest radio I've seen in a Plymouth was a 1931 PA series, Philco made the radio and was the radio supplier for many years.   Not to say there weren't accessory radios that could have been sold and installed.....

Going by memory on this one, but possibly Motorola for an accessory radio. I believe they were in business by then.

What battery did the rumble seat coupe use? (Make&model) Same thing with the radio. Lastly, where do I find uphostery material for this model?

In that era Plymouth batteries were sourced by Willard. Parts book says "Battery, storage ? serviced by Willard Battery Co., Cleveland, Ohio, and Toronto, Canada." At the beginning of the parts book lists the specifications of the battery for a 30-U as 84 A-Hr, 3 cells, 13 plates, 6v.

No clue to who sourced the accessory radio. Not listed in the master parts book at all.

Kathy Schrack, who advertises in the Plymouth Bulletin has upholstery kits for a lot of 1930s Plymouths. Not sure if she has one for the 30-U coupe though.
