1932 PB Tail light

I'll see if I can get a better photo of the bracket. Yours is bent in the right way,out away towards the left-the right bends away towards the right, and mounted in the correct position but I believe the arm is a round bar. But I'm not sure. Your PB sedan is not rare so it won't be hard to 'get it right'.

Here is a close up of the left tail light....I do not think the bracket is correct.  Should it not be mounted over the hole that the yellow wire comes out of??  There is a similar hole on the right hand side as well.  The rear bumper is also on upside down...  Incidentally, there were 11 electrical wires going to the rear of the car when I started on it...been redone a few times I think.  Any idea on the interior??  I think it may have come from a convertible.

The tailight arm appears to be correct,it's in the right spot, but the tailight bucket is automotive store generic. Maybe you could post some more photos? I believe all Plymouths for many years came from the factory with only the left tailight. If the buyer wanted one on the passenger side I'm beginning to believe the dealer installed it. The vast majority of barn fresh cars,Plymouth or not, that I've seen over the years had only the left tailight. In the movies from those years you'll also see just about all the cars and trucks have only a left tailight. However with that being said I highly recommend you install a right side light for safety on todays roads. Your hub caps are off a 1934 I think. 1932 PB hubcaps are the same as 1933,dead flat with scalloped edges. I believe there is a 1932 original hubcap that looks the same as a '33 except it has a more scalloped or swooped edge. They are very rare. The '33s are much less scalloped and more common. I think the reason the Master Parts book from 1934 calls out the same part # for '32 and '33 hubcaps was for cost. They didn't think the dealers or the owners would notice the slight difference in the edges. Most of the sedans were dark blue,green,maroon. There were other colors available but you just don't see them in barn fresh originals. I do not recognize the colors on this car as being sedan colors. BTW I believe Plymouth did the same in '32 as in 1933 and did not offer black. At least not until the end of the calendar year of 1933 and then only in dealer batches of 10 or more. Black in a very rare sedan color in 1932 or '33.

Passenger side tail light was not standard. The 1928-33 Master Parts Book accessory section show part numbers for the dual tail light setup. Two different service packages, one for closed cars and a different one for open cars.

In the 1932 PB section on my web site are some photos. Most are from the front quarter but I do have a couple from the rear including ones for a 1932 PB that I saw at the WPC museum at the Chrysler Historical Collection that show the tail light lens you'll be looking for.

I am new to Plymouth.....and am helping a friend re do a 32 PB.   What do the original tail lights look like?  Where there two or just one?  Also, I do not think the color is original...I think the colors were for a convertible or a coupe.....
