52 Plymouth spare tire hold down

my 52's (both) used round discs with a slightly enlongaged center hole and 4 cleats on the bottom..the jack itself rests on the inner trunk body and the lower end on a plate on the floor..of course this no longer applies today to the coupe..

these pictures will show the round hold down, the original position of the jack etc...my car is slighly modified for true dual exhasut, centered fuel tank, wheel well welded up and a fabricated spare tire stand with the scissors jack in a locking tray hidden from view by the spare.  Original jack and such will still be in original space as factory provided.  You can see just a bit of the pedestal for the spare in the one photo..I do not have a pic for some reason in this file folder of the scissors jack mount hidden by the spare..it does rest in place and is rattleproof by the tensioned bracket..

Found the bracket that fits in the wheel center hole and the tightening nut, which looks nothing like the common large wingnuts, in a 51 Plymouth Cranbrook in a wrecking yard in the Houston area. We are visiting Houston while my wife is at a high school reunion from her school in Viet Nam. I managed to find this car by searching on craiglist in the cities we would be stopping to visit.

I think i recall that the base of the jack slides down the threaded rod on top of the tire and a big wing nut secures it and the tire.  I may be off a year or two.

Hello again, Does anyone have a picture or the actual parts that attach the spare tire to the threaded rod in the wire well?  Thanks
