Try WIX 51071 (NAPA), FRAM C134PL(KRAGEN/Orielly) special order.RockAutoParts may have them as well.
Should fit most of the disposable filter cannisters.Saw some on Ebay recently.

Napa does have the oil filter. Sadly their computers don't list old Plymouth's anymore, since Plymouth's are no longer in production and the counterperson is too lazy to look it up in a parts book.  I tell them I need an oil filter for a Dodge, they are still listed in the computer. Just tell them the year and engine. Filters are the same.

Check NAPA . They have a lot of stuff for older cars. I know they have the filter . Get them there for my 49 .

I'm not as familiar with the 50s cars, but for the earlier ones there were several different oil filter setups. One was a disposable canister, unfortunately WIX stopped making those about 10 years ago. Others were housings with replaceable elements inside. Here again there are a couple of different ones. Most of them seem to use the NAPA 1080 filter. For more details on the earlier ones, that might still be applicable to your 50s car, see http://www.ply33.com/Parts/group10#10-26-08

If all you need is for the linings to be renewed on your emergency brake, a local brake and friction shop should be able to help you. They are the ones that the local automotive repair shops deal with, not the automotive repair shop itself. Used to be able to find them in the yellow pages but I haven't had an old fashioned phone book in years so I can't say that they are in there anymore. If you are missing parts, then a parts car is probably your best bet.

Like the post's title, I'd like to know where to get replacement parts for the Emergency Brake that goes around the Driveshaft and a replacement Oil Filter Element.  These would be for a 1953-54 Plymouth.  I don't have one yet, but its the year/s I'm looking at since my parent's 1st New car was a 1954 Plymouth.  Right now I have a 1967 VW Beetle, and I've learned a lot about car repairs & service on it.  But now I'm yearning for a Plymouth from my youth, the type I sat on my father's lap to "drive" up the street to our house in New Rochelle.  Any and all help will be most appreciated.
