I think that we would all have to be pretty naieve to think that one would not take another picture to post in place of that offensive display no matter what the situation was. I'm sure we have all used it at one time or another and I'm certain we know it is not mistaken for another sort of greeting, period. This forum is not the place for it.

Just to remain objective here and consider all angles before drawing the wrong conclusion, isn't it possible that someone, just moments before the picture was made, suggested to "evoldog" that he modify one of his Plymouths, and the camera caught his response.  If it happened that way, then his response would be a defense of our club policies, wouldn't it?  :D

 ???  Fits right in with the rest of the degradation of our society and to me it enforces the fact that I know I'm not in my true home...yet. Little by little, this type of activity eventually won't even raise an eyebrow. Very sad...and yes, this guy has some explaining to do here. We as a decent group of Plymouth lovers don't have to let this trash seep into our forum.

I need to agree with you, that is pretty rude. But I am pretty new also and did not say anything because I was new. Not sure how that gent meant that, just being funny, a special greeting, or is it contempt as it looks. I think we have an apoligy owed. whatever....  I was hoping someone would say something. Thanks

I just went to check the profile on our newest member evoldog, I see he posted a picture of himself flipping us the finger. When no one answers his posts  he might wonder why.
Maybe this symbol doesn't mean what it use to. Back in the 1960's before street disagreements were setted  with guns and knifes like they are today, this was the last symbol given before a pushing match and maybe a fat lip. I just can't see a new member using this as a welcome symbol.
