Beautiful job.    Congratulations.  On the drive home you would have been sitting high and proud on that milk crate.  Take a while to get the bugs off your smile.  dp

After seeing the before pictures, I can really appriciate what you have done. Over the course of the winter I hope you will get the wheels painted by the same painter. The car looks terrific.

Thanks all,

Getting her ready for a legal drive, seats, etc is my winter project.

Pat, I did drive it down to the painter who was only a 1/2 mile from the house in both directions on a milk crate, no glass, and no lights.  Also didn?t pass any cars.  Very rural.  The car is registered and I have the license plate in the cab.  Although on the off chance I ran into the state police I was hoping the guy would be a car buff.

I like the color, now to see it back with all the trim and running, going down the road, it will be a beautiful sight to behold :)

I will be looking forward to seeing photos of your progress this winter

Lookin' good, Chet.

It brings back very fond memories of the '47 that I owned in high school.
