Chet, after looking at the photos again today, they seem like they could have been taken on a movie set

The picture is of a street in Milford Delaware.  This is a small rural town.  Actually for rural Delaware it is a pretty large town.  The shot is taken in the historic district.  All the stars aligned for this shot.  The streets were clean, no one else in the shot.  I waited to ensure no passing modern cars.  I will admit that I edited out a telephone pole support cable in the right side of the picture.  My daughter says it looks like Universal Studios, Calf. but it is Milford Delaware.

It was such a nice day that the wife and I decided to take the 29 over to Lincoln to visit our old neighbors.  On the way home we drove through Milford DE. and parked next to this old Bed & Breakfast.  I believe this may be the oldest existing structure in Milford.  The building's chimney is dated 1783.  Obviously the house has been restored.

The first picture is color the second is converted to Black & White.

Diana is the cook in our family. She says it was jalapenos, red peppers and tomatoes. Whatever it was, it sure was good.

Looks like you had a nice ride, Bob.

Diana and I actually got the '36 out this morning also. We drove it 8 miles (one way) to the local airport for their monthly fly-in-drive-in breakfast. We parked next to a '47 Ford coupe. The airport has a grass runway, and most of the (light) planes that land there have a single engine. We had a good breakfast (Mexican srambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, orange juice & coffee), visited for a while, then headed home before it got too hot (it was 92 this afternoon).
