This is what Darrell Davis wrote back to me:

"There was one fender skirt listed in the MoPar Accessory Catalogue for both 1953 &
1954 Plymouths and Dodges in 1954.  It was an over the fender opening skirt.  Fender
skirt manufacturers also made a flush mounted inside the wheel opening skirt.

"The over the opening skirt should fit all models so I can't explain why it won't fit
(the) club coupe.  I assume that the club coupe is a Savoy since that is the only
series that had a club coupe as I remember."

Darrell also stated:
"PS:  I own four 54 Blevederes.  One of each body style and all four have skirts on them."

So, there you have it.  From this, I am assuming that you have a set of "inside the wheel
opening" skirts, not a set of "over the fender opening" skirts.  So, it seems that the set
you have was made by an accessory (third party) manufacturer.

You don't, by chance, have a Canadian-built Plymouth, do you?  I do not know if that
would make a difference, but who knows ....

I hope that you can find another club coupe to be able to compare the wheel well
openings on the rear fenders.

I "fired off" an e-mail to Darrell Davis, the Plymouth Owners Club
Technical Advisor for 1954 Plymouths.  So, we will see what
he has to say on the subject.

I would have thought that since you really do not have bolt-on fenders,
that all the rear fenders would be the same.  This is odd.  I will ask
another '54 owner and see what he has to say about this.
