Todd,
I got this hood half with the body, but have yet to see the other side listed.

My car is a PD and there aren't any PCs in my area to take a close look at. That said, the top section of your hood does not have the cut out area for the radiator cap. So the car had an internal radiator cap like the PC. And the louvers have the right general slope for a PC. Not sure about that raised/area around the louvers. The PD does not have that but I don't know about the PC.

Here's a photo for you. PC in front, PD behind it. Neither car is authentically restored but you can see the difference in radiator shell, hood louvers, head light buckets.

Thanks for the info Todd,
BTW what I meant is I have an easier time visually seeing the differences.
Note that I read someplace that the changes in the long wheel base and short wheelbase is the front sheetmetal and running boards.
What I got is basically a sedan body and frame, doors front fenders and running boards.
So not grille or radiator, I did get a half od a hood and side but I think it's from a different car. The sides has 34 louvers and they taper in size, I noticed all the dodge and plymouth hoods louvers get shorter towards the rear but not like the ones on this hood, so I figure it's for another car.

I'll be getting the front and rear suspensions next weekend.
Later on.

Tod... Do you have pushers out there!?!? :o

I didn't know I had pusher's for my web site.? :o

The actual rear fender design are different at the rear fenders based on if you have a coupe or a sedan but all listings in parts book section 12-C (Fenders - Rear) have a model code of (PC, PD). So they should be the same (lots of numbers based on coupe/sedan, left/right and paint/prime/enamel). But all sedans for the year are the same. And all coupes for the year are the same.

A serial number in the 1,7nn,nnn range would be for a PC built in Detroit. This should have the radiator cap under the hood, the more sloped radiator shell, slanted hood louvers, etc. Despite what I wrote earlier, the parts book only shows one break on part numbers based on serial number, that between a PC and a PCXX, so I guess the minor wheel base change to accommodate side mounted spares did not result in a new fender part number.

Hi Todd,
Actually we got the car in Phoenix at my dad's house.
The parts selller out of Cotati, He's coming down our way anyhow next week.
I had the number written down, I know it in the 17,xxx. I'll have to confirm, it's a 4 dr sedan.
I thought only the front sheetmetal was different witht he longer wheelbase?
the actual rear fender design is different at the gas cover
I know a lot of people push the ply33.com, but there is not a whole lot to see as far a visually checking to compare models. If there were more images and interior shot that would be great.

Hi,
I'm Abe, my girl Mel bought a 33 Plymouth 4dr sedan, it's going to be bit of a project, basically the body and frame.? I? learned the hard way about the fenders and got some 34 which are up for sale if anyone need some.
I've found the bulk of the parts from a guy in Cotati, Ca.
Anyhow we basically are collecting parts that are missing and then we'll start out build. This looks like a great place and there is a lot of good info here so I thought I'd join. I'll post images of the project soon.
I'm out Los Angeles,Ca.

Cotati (Santa Rosa area) is quite a ways from Los Angeles.... Wow.

I guess that when you "learned the hard way about the fenders" you learned that there are something like four different versions of the front fenders (Early PC, PC, PCXX and PD)?

By the way, do you know what flavor you have? You can tell from the serial number (front passenger door hinge post) what the engineering code and factory was.
