How many from this board will be atteding the Fall meet in Westminster, MD

Now let?s be nice.? I don?t believe anyone from the Mid Atlantic Region frequents this board and the majority drive their cars often and when they get together the turn out is quite impressive.? I believe most are retired.? ?You should get to see some really nice early Plymouths at this show.? I am particularly interested in getting a good look at an original unmolested 29U.? ?As you already know that will be my first retirement project to redo my old clunker.? The only problem I have with retirement.., is money.

I will be driving back up on Saturday for the show.? Unfortunately Sunday I need to do a lot of overdue yard work.? ?Is anyone going up to Hershey this year.? I think I might take some time off to search through the mass of dealers for some old parts, never seem to have enough parts.

From the reaction here you might woder if any one was going to attend.  There is more action on this meet on the P15-d24 site than here on the club's board.  Maybe they are all busy cleaning out their trailers...................

Last I heard from Jim he was looking forward to it but I know things change and its certainly easier for use retired guys.  Any way hope to se both of you there, with or without your cars.

I will be there.? I don't think my 29 will make the trip basically because I have to work Friday and can't leave early enough to get up there.? So the 99 Suburban will have to do.? I would have hoped to have the 48 on the road by now but just too many distractions this summer.? ?I might have found another painter from a tip provided by the guy that bought what was left of my 47 parts car.? We will have to see where that goes.? Jim may or may not come up he has business that weekend but may stop at the tailgate Friday.

PS? The Mid-Atlantic Region is a good bunch of folks.? It should be a great show those guys have been planning this for a long time.

Also there is a group that has a Friday night tailgate get together in the Hotel parking lot. Most of this group are owners of (perish the thought) modified Plymouths, any one is welcomed to stop by for  rumors tall tales and lies told and retold.  We usually bring regional favorit foods on a diah to pass, and beverages are BYOB.  Starting around 5:00.

Come and join POCO (Plymouth owners club outcasts) for some good food and Plymouth collegiality.
