MoParDave - your '28 is the 4,525th car built.? It was built towards the middle of July, probably the 12-13 or 14th of July 1928.? I can break out U.S. built Q & U models (up to first PB models actually) by 15 day periods.? Unfortunately Chrysler Historical doesn't have any build records until the 1930 30U models....

Thanks Jim.? I have been able to trace the history of my car back to the early 60's in West Virginia.? Before that, I don't know where the car was.? I know my car is in your data base because we have talked about it previously.? For some reason, I thought it was nearer the beginning of production.

Keith - your car is a Canadian built 1928 Model Q.  The Fedco number shows it is the 287th Plymouth built in the Windsor, Ontario plant.  The engine number starts with a "Q", not on O.  I can't decifer the other numbers.  It is one of the earliest Plymouths in existence.....in fact, I can say of the known existing Model Q Plymouths, it is the EARLIEST one in existence.  The Canadian built 882nd car held the "record" for a long time.  The earliest known US built car is the 2,773rd car built....
