1940 Plymouth Woodie Wagons

Will try this again - the website has been giving me fits.  Mark is working on it but when I try to post a message I get an error message.  Yes, the Walton show used a 40 Plymouth woodie.  I contacted their official website some time ago to try and find out about the car but was told it was a "studio car".  Since then, I haven't found out anything.  Anyone out there got any ideas?

If memory serves me correct, wasn't there a 1940 Plymouth wagon on the "Waltons" during the war years?

Hi Bob - at the present time I can account for 13 woodie wagons, all verified by serial number.  There are probably others but I don't count it as "official" unless I have the numbers!  The Cars & Parts '40 is on the list....

In the May '08 issue of "Cars and Parts" there is an article on a 1940 Plymouth Woodie Wagon.  It states that 3,126 were built and some 80 were built on the Road King chassis for export.

I wonder just how many of these wagons still exist?
