I am sorry to hear about your plight with the Plymouth.? I'm happy for you that the future looks bright.
I am very familiar with Aachen.? My wife and I visited there last year. We stayed there for two days and enjoyed it.
We went to the American cemetery in Henri-Chappell Belgium to visit the grave of my uncle Eddie who was killed during that major American campaign.?
That is truly beautiful country there and I believe it will stay that way for the fore-seeable future.

Having nicest spring weather, my lovely wife asked 10th of April to make a Plymouth trip to Maastricht, NL, near Aachen, which allies occupied as first german city in 1945. While Aachen was havily destroyedMaastricht saved the old downtown, no war destructions, on river Maas.

Foto shows dutch "Frank LLoyd Wright/ Bauhaus" influenced  brick style.

2 hoiurs on land roads, 4 beautiful hours in the historical center, 1 hour 15 min. back on Autobahn.Lost power 1 mile from home because of a blown head gasket. Easter, I drove 20 mls to the shop (all down the mountains..)
Yesterday, we changed the Cyl Head gasket, and with a lot of people coming by and a lot of coffee and talking cars we did it in 5 hours.

  With everything put back and engine warmed up, procedure prescribes re tightening to 70 foot pounds. Well,  I now couldn?t reach 2 now hidden bolts, so I had to take off spark cable housing (with ign coil) and the throttle lonkage again...

Running nicely again now, trip to Innsbruck, Austria, in May is saved...
