2-Ton .... I have been in your neck of the woods many times.

In fact, I made a visit at the Auto World Museum in Fulton, MO back in the Spring.

2-Ton....I live in Southeast Missouri (Bootheel area).

I have attached a picture of the Caddie. The owner wants $7,000 for it, is that a fair price?

I didn't try to talk him down, so he may take less.

If anyone is interested, let me know.

Friend of mine had a '25 Cadillac.  As early as 1934 it had been cut into a truck.  He sold the thing a couple of years ago and a fellow in California restored it, as a truck.  It had been a 7 passenger sedan.  Not uncommon for cars like that to have been cut into something usefull during the Dirty Thirties in this part of the country.  They were built like a truck and used like one, too!

I just looked up your profile and you may not far from me.
Still can't afford it, but let me know what area of the state it's in.

Give us more info if you can.

Thanks

Thanks for the info!!
But I'm not in that price bracket that can afford a car like that.
It sold new for about 3,800$ in 1925 and that puts it out of my reach even now.

Please try to keep the rat rodders from getting it, it could make a lot of good movies!!

I know this is the Plymouth Forum........
I also know many folks on this forum are interested in all types of old cars and trucks.
With that said.....I have a chance to purchase a 1925 Cadillac 5 person Coupe (V-8 engine).
It is in very good shape considering the age (needs work, but looks to be mostly complete).
My problem is I'm not ready to start another project right now, but would hate to see this car go to someone to street rod.
So....Should anyone be interested in this car let me know.
