1940 Plymouth glove box

How about showing a photo where this spring mounts.
I'm not sure why this is only for the 40, and not other models.
Pictures of this information will help me locate what you are looking for.

Still looking for the spring it is number 23-06-22 in the scan of the parts book page.

Anyone got any ideas?

Here is a scan out of the Master Parts list for 1936 - 1942 Plymouths that shows the glove box spring

I guess when I said spring, it is more like a spring type metal that is in the centre of the hinge, so when you push the button to open the glovebox door, it springs open.  The black hole did eat the one I had, it was bent in a couple different directions and about an inch or so square

Bob:   That black hole must be a big one because my 40 has no spring on the glovebox door . I just went and looked)  unless it is one from inside the push button latch and I don't even want to go there.
