If you are going to contact Mr Govier, a word of advise.  Be prepared to a delay in getting a response from him.  You may get a quick response  but I often hear complaints from people on other web sites on how long it takes him to respond.   I sent a request to see if he had a build sheet for my '69 Roadrunner.  In a month I got a list of his services and prices.   It was a year and a half before I got the letter saying he didn't have the buildsheet.   With the show season winding down you may get a quick response, but if not, you'll know why.  Good luck!

I've been able to decode the vin on my own number by number, and my father in law has been able to find out what some of the other numbers are. It is such a confusing mess! As he is the original owner he knows where the car came from and all the information given from Plymouth way back in 70. However he just has no way of REALLY proving it. Sounds like this guy might be helpful. I'll see what he can do. If anyone else has any ideas I'd love their input!

I'm looking for information regaurding a 'Cuda my Father in law purchased in 1970. He purchased the car brand new (and is the original owner) from a Plymouth Dealer in Ohio, who was a family friend. The dealer told him the car was used in the chicago auto show and the detroit auto show. He however does not have a way of proving this as Plymouth (chrysler) will not relase any information about the car. The 'vin' number is differant and the codes are off. The numbers (from what he tells me) are clear that this car was not meant to be sold to the public. If anyone knows where i could find information about this car, I would greatly appreciate it. The detoit auto show was very helpful but didn't find a photo of it, (they don't have many of those displays) and the Chicago show has been less helpful saying they can't find anything, but I found a picture of theirs and they did send me a higher resolution image of it. I contacted Chrysler and they told me the information was not available.

I can give a full description of this car if needed.
Thank You!
