Thanks for the reply. I will try the #40-479-85 from Steele. I had previously called Steele about the trunk weatherstripping for the 62 Valiant and was told they didn't have this. I will try this as a substitute. Thanks. Mac

Steele Rubber has a listing for their part # 40-0479-85.  The dimensions appear to be identical to my 62 Valiant trunk weatherstrip.  Call them 800-544-8665 or online http://steelerubber.com.

I need to replace the trunk weatherstripping on the trunk of my 1962 Valiant. Have not found anyone who reproduces the original type. Does anyone know a source for this or a substitute which will suffice? Mac
