I'm jealous; I hope to take my '36 out for a trial run next week. Our spring is coming slowly this year; I usually have been out a couple of times before now in previous years.

This morning I fired up the old Plymouth, drove down to the fairgrounds to walk, the afterwards decided to go for a ride.
I ended up on a dead end road with an old farm at the end of it.  I stopped to ask if I could take a few photos of the Plymouth with the old cow barn as a backdrop.  The lady smiled and said yes, on one condition, that I share the photos with her.  Then then asked me if it was a 1940 Plymouth, I said yes and asked her how she knew.  She told me that her parents bought a 1940 Plymouth 4dr sedan brand new.  Needless to say I took the photos, drove home, printed them, then fired up the old Plymouth and drove back to the farm to give the lady the photos and to thank her for letting me do so.  She thanked me for the photos and bringing back old memories.

Isn't this part of what makes the old car hobby great:):)
