The Fram part number is either C143PL or C134PL    This is the filter element for the filter pictured.  It is the one I used in my 46 Plymouth.
I sold the car a while back & my memory is a little fuzzy on the part numbers.

1964 Plymouth Belvedere

Thank you for checking.  Is that part number for the canister or the filter element?

Does anyone know the part number for the oil filter shown in the attached picture.? This picture is like the oil filter on my '41.? I only have a condensed parts list for 36-48 and the part number for this group (10-26-1) is omitted in my book.? Perhaps this same illustration is in a parts list for a specific year and the part number is available in that book.? Also, my 1941 parts list shows five different replaceable filter kits available from the factory.? Two kits are listed as "Small Heavy Duty" (MoPar/Wick? and Purolator) and three are listed as "Large Heavy Duty" (MoPar, Purolator and Deluxe).

The filter element that fits the canister I have is shorter than some (NAPA/Wick filter fits it) with the filter holes on the side of the element case.? The other filters I have seen are longer and have the filter holes in the top and bottom of the element.? I guess that is what the catlaog means by small and large?

It is obvious many variations in filters were available from the factory...not to mention all the after market filters like Fram and store brand names sold through chains like Western Auto.

I just want to figure out what came on this car originally.

Thanks!
