I did look into those.  Those are manual valves, I thought it would be nice and simple to do it from the drivers seat with a electrical switch.  You also don't have to shut the valve off before the engine, it has a internal one way valve to replenish itself.  Also, this type is really a pre oiler, it only works when activated by the switch.

Moroso makes a similar oil accumulator.  You can find it in the Jegs or Summit catalogs.

Hey I see I just posted 100,,, not bad,, lol.

I have a lot of respect for the Stock Cars.  But my car came to me with front disc brakes and other changes already.  The additions and mods I have made are mostly for safety, and yes, have to admit, looks and sound.

David, I get about 20MPG with this set up.  It now has overdrive also.  I have taken this car twice to Detroit and back from Mt. View, CA for Woodward Dream Cruise.  Taken it meaning I DROVE it.  This is my other car plus my work truck Dodge Ram 03 Hemi

I'm just in awe of that awesome carb setup you have there.  Where did you get the intake?  Is it a noticeable performance increase or just a noticeable fuel drinker?

Been awhile since I posted, mostly because my car is not entirely stock.

But wondered if anyone else has used a pre-oiler for thier cars that dont get started real often.

Hope this works,, I will cut and paste it.

Got this set up from Master Lube, used alot on boats I am told.?

Here is the tank, suppose to fill it 1/2 with oil, then compressed air the same pressure as engine oil pumps puts out.

and

The gauge (liquid filled)

Where I tap into the engine.? At the bottom, between the distributor and oil filler tube.

Then run a switch to the dash, (momentary and constant)

Momentary switch for when I am starting the car, the compressed air pushes oil into the block.? I watch my oil pressure gauge for a normal running reading.? ?Then I release the switch and start the car.
When the engine is running, a one way valve in the unit lets oil back into the tank until the pressure reading is as before, then closes, thus your oil is back in the tank for the next time.

The constant switch is used for when you change your oil.? Activate it, and all the oil is pushed out of the tank.?
Then after you change your oil, you refill the tank half way again, and put air back in through the shader (sp) valve on top.

Pretty cool,, works good.

Never have to start my engine without oil again.? ?:D
