Jim,
You know, I forgot about that!
Yes, quite a few years back, I remember having a conversation with Barry about that door. Interesting, I never saw one of that style before either.
BUT, the mystery is solved. The fellow has a P-15 dash in his delivery!
Thanks for the help though.
Best regards

Did he have the door that slipped down under the dash?  I've never seen one but Barry Cheslock sent me some stuff on it years ago....

Hey Jim,
Thanks for your reply.
Well, I guess that I won. The big question now is helping out this fellow with a problem he has. I have never heard of a 41 passenger car (now we know that is the case) to have a glove box door that has a removable horizontal molding on it... Also, the one he owns (that looks exactly like any other 41 glove box door) has a small vertical strip on the far left, and right side of the door! Now, these are not removeable, but they are on both sides, not just the right side. They are located on the far ends of the glove box lid, and run up from the horizontal "built in" type molding. Trouble he is having is that the chrome company that was re-doing these parts for him, LOST the pieces... Now, he is looking for replacements.
I know that there are two kinds of "doors" for the Plymouths of that year. One has a long hinge on the bottom with four screws that attach the door to the dash. The other style, has two hinges on either side that provide the same effect.
Not sure what this poor guy has, or where to tell him to look! His does attach to the dash with the long, four screw type hinge.

Any ideas?

All the best

Lindsay -  I've got factory photos of the dash of both the 40 & 41 sedan delivery - at home. It is the passenger car dash, not the commercial dash.  Did you win or lose???

I was wondering if one of you lucky fellows that own a 41 Sedan Delivery can help me with a question please.
I have $10.00 riding that the dash of a 41 Sedan Delivery, is the same dash that was used in the other production cars of the same year. Not the commercial series. I'm especially interested in the glove box door, and the trim that highlights the door (removeable center horizontal bar?). Photos would be great if anyone has these without too much trouble.
Thanks in advance for your time.
