Andy has the right cables. I just bought them for my 39. However the folks there treat you like crap. However that is a pretty straight forward order. Just be aware that if you ask them a question they will treat you like a moron. Try not to ak any questions and you will come away with your ego intact.

I buy a lot from Andy since 11 years without complaint. I always found competent people there to answer my questions. Only once I got a release fork (new) with a small crack. He offered to refund it immediately. I preferred to keep it as spare and do solder it.
I have bad experiences with wrong parts and no help with others.

I'd rather soak my head in battery acid than buy from Bernbaum.

Have you tried Gary Goers?

In my opinion, if I were you, I would send to Andy Bernbaum and get the correct battery cables.  I was having trouble starting by P10 and ordered the correct cables.  I haven't had any trouble starting the car since.  Everdently the old cables were bad inside where it couldn't been seen.  I had always kept the terminals clean.  Again, just something to think about.

My local NAPA store can make up a cable any length u want.  Just make sure it is the biggest size-I think it is a #2- that they have.  I could write a short story on troubles with too small of a cable-but if u use a bigger cable and keep the pos terminal clean u will think u have 12 volts.
