Go Fleiter

My Service manual covers 1946- 1953 Plys. My knob turns ~ 90 degrees clockwise to start and bach to stop the wipers. Wipers continue to parking position . 2 types of wiper motor assemblys are used. Both have a parking switch and actuating cam included. I guess Your problem is there.
Manual says to take machine oil on the felt washers of the linkage assy. I put motor oil in the wiper pivot holes too( take out skrew) outside of the window frame. I dont know if the Motor axle bearings are accessible, if so, use same oil. Gun oil may be too thin to stay long.

Greetings! Go

Go,
When I turn the knob the wipers move to the right, but I have to turn the knob again to move them to the left, and so on. Are they stuck? Also, I am confused about which motor oil to use? mike
