I found the folowing info in the 1972? Champion Wholesaler Catalog:

For 1942 and earlier Plymouth engines:? Champion? J-11

Cross reference to Autolite:? Autolite? AT8 or Autolite A9

You would probably be OK with Champion J-8 (slightly colder plug), which cross references to: Autolite AT6 or Autolite A7

Autolite 295 is a non-resistor and 306 is a resistor plug.  Both will fit.
