34 Plymouth coupe windshield frame measurments and gas tank

I can't help you directly with your questions, but if you want to make your life a little easier N/C Industries makes reproduction windshield frames, already chrome plated with, if you want, rubber and glass. The one for my 1933 sedan fit perfectly and it did not have the issue of rotting out at the bottom where the plater (and I) did not get all of the gunk out of the channel.

I did come across a web site recently where they were making replacement gas tanks for 1933 Plymouths but I can't find the link at the moment. Theirs were the same size as the original but my guess is that a custom one could be made. Here is a link to someone that is re-selling those repros. I'm re-building a 34 Plymouth coupe and have a windshield frame from a 4 dr. sedan. I am wondering what the outside measurements of a coupe windshield frame are as I am planning on cutting down the height of the sedan frame to fit my coupe. Has anyone ever had experience doing this before?

I'm also wondering what other gas tank could interchange? Just hoping to find something that will hold more gas than the original.

Any help with this is appreciated.
