Canadian colours are different from USA so this is just a suggestion.  If NB Blue is a dark non metallic blue, a little darker than the POC logo at the top of this page, have your paint supplier show you  1978 Ford  MIDNIGHT, Ford body code 3A.  It is a great "old time" dark, non metallic and it is easily tinted darker by adding black.

Bill, the Ditzler number was 10390 DQE (Enamel) or DAL (Lacquer)....again, that's the 1949 Plymouth paint codes for New Brunswick Blue.

Bill, are you looking for the manufacturers paint mix code or the actual recipe?    The Opex # was 33200-G (That's the '49 code for the same color) and the Kem code was 43761-G.    Those numbers are from a Sherman-Williams chart for Lacquer.     The manufacturers code that year (1949) for New Brunswick Blue was 606.

Can anyone help me to determine the paint formula for the color "New Brunswick Blue" that was used on 1950 Plymouths?
