thanks for the reply. my block is the USA 23" block and the exhaust exits between 5and 6 (at the rear) i have attached a pic tho not sure if it'll help!!
one thing tho I do have a good friend in kiakoura on the south island that may be of help if you can help me out.

P.S the manifold looks great in the picture but the weld didn't hold and now is in two bits !again!

Hi Virge measure the length of your block and where the exhaust outlet is  send me a PM i might be able to help,although i am in NZ and shipping costs would probably be a problem. I have a 54 US ass  and have had a canadian ass car and they both had a 23' short block . i fitted a long block to the canadian one and had to alter the radiator mounts to move it forward so the motor would fit. although i know they differed from model to model depending on what country they were going to

Good points, Tod. Don't forget, they changed the size of the exhaust pipe at some point also (which I found out when I tried to replace my manifold).

At least on the short (23") blocks, there are different styles of manifolds: Some have the exhaust pipe connect at the back and others between the #5 and #6 cylinders. You probably want one that matches the broken one so that you don't have to replace the exhaust pipe.

Also, they changed the connection between the intake and exhaust manifolds over the years. So you might want to make sure that the replacement matches up with your intake or get a matching intake/exhaust manifold set. I might be making too much fuss over this, but I do know that the intake and exhaust manifolds on my 1933 are different from those I see on the 1940s engines.

The mounting to the block is, as far as I know, identical from 1933 up to end of production. So getting a manifold that fits should not be too big an issue.

Is your Savoy U.S. or Canadian production? The manifolds will not interchange because the U.S used the 23" (long) engine while the Canadian is 25". It's important to be sure before you go to the trouble of getting a manifold sight unseen.

Hi any one got an exhaust manifoild for a flat six? i got a 55 savoy and managed to crack the manifold while removing the head!! oops! i've welded it up but will need to replace so let me know if your ready to part with one, im in the U.K
