Dave & John,

Thanks for the info.  I had the left rear wheel off this weekend to get the brakes functional again.  Replaced the brake cylinder and the current seals didn?t look like they were leaking.  The brake shoes still have some life in them so I think I will wait on the axle seals until I need to change the brake shoes.

Great info though.  I intend to take the differential cover off to drain, clean and inspect the differential gears.  Anything I should know before hand.  Also after this is accomplished I will drop the engine oil pan to clean out the slug and inspect the inner workings.  By the way?, Gasket City in Canada has new complete engine gasket kits and sells the oil pan gasket as a separate item.   Just an FYI?  ( PS - Pricey )

I purchased a set of rear seals for my 31 from Larry and was very impressed by the workmanship, I think you would be happy with his product.

Chet,
If you want the inners too, I have a set of new replacement ones.  However, be advised, it is a bear of a job getting the old ones out.  You have to also pull out the inner races just to get at them.  Many people don't bother, but if they are really bad, the differential fluid may wash into the axel bearings.

In the back of the Plymouth Bulletin Larry Chegwidden, 6826 S.E. Stark St., Portland, OR 97215, 1-503-238-8882 (after 7:00 Pacific Time) advertises that he makes reproduction seals from billet stock with a new nitrile seal.
