A few more. The orange reflectors on the grill are clip-ons that the previous owner put on. It was his daily driver so occasionally he took it out at night.

Dan, You need no special site or myspace to put the fotos. Just "post reply" , under the text window You find "Additional Options" and "attach". Here is the foto space. Just keep the size around 200 KB. Greetings from Go

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. This site is a tremendous resource.
I read the message about posting photos to this board. I have photos of the car but they're not on the web anywhere. So for now (until I get a myspace account or something) I'd be happy to email them to anyone who's interested. I'd also be interested in seeing any photo's of other '40's that anyone might want to share.

Being an owner of a 1940 Plymouth P-10 Business Coupe, I sure would like to see some photos of your Plymouth posted here on the POC.

Dan - the front floor was always rubber mat. Rear floor of sedans was a hogshair carpet.

I recently bought a 1940 Deluxe. The previous owner(s) have kept it or restored it to a very nice condition. My question concerns floor covering. Did the '40 P10 come with carpet or was it just rubber floor mats? My '40 seems to have ,what looks to me, cheap replacement auto carpet. It kinda stands out from the rest of the interior which is fairly well done. I have searched high and low for photos of the original interior, but come up short. Any information would be appreciated.
