I live in the Catskill Mountains of New York, roughly 50 miles southwest of Kingston.

It has been a very mild winter here until the last month, we had our first measureable snow on Valentine's Day.

This morning it was 8 below with a chill factor around 20 below when I went to work, but the sun was nice and bright, so can't complain there.

wow i know how you feel.  What part of the north east are you located in.  Has been bitter cold here not much snow this year but alot of road salt.  Ahh must be nice to be in the southern half of the country this time of year

What can I say....Things are really tough here on the left coast, the temp got up to 85 yesterday, however, the weather is changing for the next few days, slight chance of rain predicted.

I know all about that white stuff piled up in your yard, I have a place in Idaho that is covered with snow right now , it is melting very quickly though because the weather has warmed up from 24 below zero to a balmy 36 degrees.  My brother is not to happy about it because everthing is turning to mud....Bill

My wife took this photo earlier this morning, As you can see this sure isn't So California, but we can sit and wish the weather was more like "Old Plymouth Driving" weather here on the east coast:):)

About a month ago we went out to breakfast just about dawn, as we were going up mountain, the turkeys were in the trees roosting, too early here for any "fun"

Just had to share, no use being foolish unless you act it and show it:):)
