12 volt overdrive

You can use a Napa HR201 or a Wells LR620.

I did mine and found a 12 volt solenoid from this guy.  New from Borg Warner, said he bought out all the remaining parts they had years ago.  Not sure about that, but this is definitely the correct part.  Works great

has anyone converted to 12 volt and retained the overdrive on a 53 plymouth? i'm in the process of rewiring my car and i would like to here from someone that has done this before with good results. i plan on using resistors but i think there may be some 12 volt parts that will interchange but i don't know whats out there yet to make this happen.
