Need steering wheel info. Please

I used JB Weld on the steering wheel of my 1940 Plymouth with great results

Hey Bob,
How did you do that job? I like the idea of JB WELD (never thought of it) for this application.? If you have time give me a heads up on how you did it.

Have heard tell that you can use Durham Water Putty for the same thing. heard that it works pretty well. They claim that it don't shrink or crack. follow this link to them. I haven't used it before, but I'm going to find out this winter. A bit cheaper then Eastwood.

Thanks for the info. I found that the Eastwood Company has a steering wheel restore kit that I will probably do instead. Camille

Not sure that it will fit a 1950 .... the number lists for a 1951 Plymouth Special Deluxe.

I am looking at a steering wheel that is for sale. Mine is pretty worn down. It has the number 1325169 on the back and measures 17 1/2 across. Does anyone know if it will work for my car 1950 Ply. 4 door sedan, special deluxe? Pictures on page 3 of My Shoebox. On my Steering wheel the horn honking bar goes all the way around, this one only has 1/2 of the bar. Thanks, Camille
