41 Plymouth Radio

Plymouth did sell an under radio but it would have been of the Philco brand.  Crosley was an aftermarket radio.

My 41 Business coupe has a Crosley Roamio radio bolted to the bottom of the dashboard along side of the emergency brake handle. I'm thinking that this is a dealer item bolted in at tme of purchase or an aftermarket item installed by an owner. It lit but didn't seem to tune or work and when I took it apart I found the tuning thread had jumped the large pulley. I tested it out of the car and it seems to work now, but without an antenna I didn't get any reception. I will try it in the car with the cars antenna. Does any one have any info on this sort of radio, eg: is it the right vintage, in the right location etc., etc.
