I can't help on the body number but your serial number is from the Detroit plant which makes it one of about 134,930 P11s that were built there. Serial numbers for Detroit P11s started at 15,000,101 and ended at 15,135,030. So your car was built about 73% of the way through the production run.

My list of serial numbers can be found at: http://www.ply33.com/Misc/vin

According to Standard Catalog of American Cars, P11 engine number for all assembly plants started at P11-1001 and went to P11-535085. So your engine number is about 70% of the way through the production run. There is a very good chance that your have "matching numbers" between your car and engine.

To get the exact build date and factory options you will need to send your serial number and some money off to the Chrysler Historical Collection for a copy of the "build card". Information on that can be found at:

http://www.ply33.com/Misc/buildcard

The build card will show the body number and engine number the car left the factory with so that will enable you to confirm that your engine is original to the car.

these are the #'s from my '41 Business Coupe. Any information you can give me about the car will be appreciated.
Block# P11 376463
Body# 25508 TPC
Fire Wall Stamping P11 24783      ( under voltage regulator )
                                    5
Serial # 15099270                      (door frame passenger side )

it is a very originl car, weekly driver and I intend to keep it the same. Would like to have as much information as possible about the car. Where it was built, what month, options if any. I have the original bill of sale to the original owner that came with the car, and it was a only a 2 owner car.

thanks again,
