That is a different Todd.

I've been (looking for)/(playing around with) LEDs for my 1933's tail light but have not found a setup I am happy with.

That is a time saver (and Life saver!)

A couple of years ago I put a copper wall dividing my backlight into 2 chambers plus adding an additional socket , one for the tail lights and one for the turn / - brake lights. As always,I  did all this without making any irreversible changements or holes to the car. That was one step safer.
Two Years ago I realised, that a lot of drivers couldn?t see my turn signals in full sunlight conditions anyhow,  because of the low performance of 6Volt bulbs. So I bought one of these new cheap 12 V LED- brake lights and tried to fit the LED s with a custom designed print board into my turn signal chamber. Adapting them for 6 V meant to change Resistor values. These attempts didn?t even leave my workbench, as while testing these layouts the resitors melted the soldering points from the copper cooling sheet! The resistors fell on the table.
The 6 V system of my car shows between 5.8 V and 8.2  V depending on temperature (of the original electro - mechanical Vortage regulator) and electrical loads. So I made active Voltage regulators to feed these LEDs: they had to give 3 Volts out to the LEDs  whatever Voltage came in. These Turn/ brake lights work very brightly now, but I even had to install a pair of additional turn signal  bulbs under the dash to slow the turn signal relais down to an acceptable frequency! If not, the low power consumption of the LED system lets the relais react at high frequency as with one broken bulb.

That was a frustrating two weekends work and I did not do this lot of work for the front turn signals too. I love to see "Todd" s ?beautifully done solution as saving a lot of trouble to us! Maybe he can offer a 6V solution too? Is he our board?s Todd? Greetings ! Go

I understand this forum and the POC club Promote originality and I apologize to any that this posting may offend. However in the name of safety upgrades I will pass this information along.

In these days when customer service takes a second seat to sales and the bottom line I feel compelled to put in a good plug for a vendor that has recently started production on new LED tail light assemblies for Plymouth P-15's. He also makes assemblies for other cars. Late last year I was contacted by Todd the owner of Technostalgia (follow the link below). He wanted a P-15 tail light bezel for a product he was developing. I had a spare and sold it to him. At that time he told me a bit about this new LED tail light assembly he was developing. It is set up for 12 volts negative ground only and not available with blue dots for liability reasons. The price is very affordable. Earlier this year Todd sent me a couple of templates for this new assembly and I removed the tail lights from my P-15 and tested the templates to insure what he sent me was correct for the curvature of the rear deck and bolt hole pattern.

This morning my wife Lisa found an unexpected package on our front doorstep. She brought it to me and I found that Todd sent me a pair of these new tail lights as pictured. The workmanship and materials are top notch. The instructions are complete and easy to read (with a humorous section on what to do if you do not read them). I know a few guys who have already bought and installed these new tail lights and they are very pleased. Although I have not yet installed these assemblies I certainly recommend them from my observations to date.
