On my '51, everytime I drove it, there would be a "yellow dust" all over the back floor board.
So, I took the upholstery (seat bottom) off and replaced the foam.  I got the foam at my
local Hobby Lobby.  They have various thicknesses and length/width from which to choose.
I do not know of a source for the fabric, but your local upholstery shop may be able to help
with something similar to what you have.  Good luck with your project!

I have the frames; I need new foam and fabric for my seats. ;)

What do you mean you need new seats; do you mean new fabric, or are the frames completely missing?  If you need fabric, check with Lebaron Bonney at their online site and you should find something appropriate.  If you need the complete metal frame, you'll have some searching to do.

There are no upholstery kits out there that I know of.  You'll need to find a reputable upholsterer in your area.  Check with local car clubs and go to cruises to see their work.  Good luck, Chris

I have a 46 plymouth special deluxe sedan and I need new seats who carries this style of seats?  Do I have to get them custom made?  I want to stay with the original style that is in it (bench seating total of eight passengers). thanks ;)
