Turn signals on 1950 special delux

I don't really know but if I recall correctly many cars of that era had the flasher unit under the dash. And many of them used a plug socket on the wiring harness that looks a bit like that used for a sealed beam headlight bulb.

This car came with turn signals but they don't work. Where is the turn signal flasher located.
