1928 plymouth?

I have a 1930 Desoto CK rumble seat coupe. It is #9600369. According to Chrysler's data, the Canadian serial numbers range from 9600001 to 9600600. I would love to touch base with you and see some pictures. There was one other Canadian made coupe around, but I've lost track of that one.

There is a tag on the right door post.? The number is 9600152. buisiness mans coupe,

my freind has a similar body with body code U DC 165? This one is a rumble seat.

"9600152" would be a Canadian-built 1930 DeSoto CK six (9600001 to 9600600).

Thanks for the help.  The yard we moved it to is my freind Tim Gervais's,  he has plenty of old cars that he saved from the crusher.  The Desoto is going into my garage this fall for a complete work over.

I don't see any Plymouth serial numbers that start with a 9600xxx. The Canadian built 1939 P7 "Road King" starts at 9,603,586. If it is a Chrysler serial number then it is likely for a 1938 or 1939 model from some other marque (Dodge, DeSoto, Chrysler) but I don't have serial numbers for those to check.

To me the late 1930s models look very different from the 1920s and early 1930s models so I am puzzled by variance between stated vintage and serial number.

Pictures would help.

If it is a 28 or 29 there should be a medallion on the dash that will have an alpha-numeric string. That is the serial number and will tell what the car is.

If it is a 30 there should be as numeric serial number tag on the right door hinge post. Again that will tell what the car is.

I recently found a plymouth body in a feild.? It is a coupe with a full trunk" trunk lid extends from back of cab to about 3 inches from floor" and? rectangular rear window.? The visor has the same body lines as the front cowl.? I'm not sure what year this car is,? is it a 28, 29, 30??? Any ideas would be appreceated
