Hi all-- first time user! some help required if I can get it please. I've just purchased a 55 Desoto Diplomat Custom which is of course the Belvedere fitted with a DeSoto grill for export. I believe all of the Belvederes or export DeSotos were assembled in Detroit with the 259 (260) V8. Can someone help me to identify which engine the car actually may be running please. I am in New Zealand and the car was sold new in this country as right hand drive -- Many thanks -- Peter Craig
