Thanks for the compliment TodFitch and for the possible contact info for obtaining the vehicle's build card. I will definitely pursue that route in hopes of learning more about the history of this little coupe. Thanks again!

Nice looking car!

Jim Benjaminson with the club maintains the roster of cars. He may have records on it but they will likely be based on the serial number located on the passenger side door hinge post. Jim's contact information should be in the magazine you will soon be getting.

For that era car the Chrysler Historical Collection is likely to have a copy of the "build card" they can print out and send you. Again, this is based on serial number. The status of the historical collection was up in the air but based on some discussions on other web sites I think they are again processing requests for build cards. I think the contact information I have at https://www.ply33.com/Misc/buildcard is still good. They will need proof that you own the car along with some money.

HI All - I just joined the POC last evening and thought I might put out a post to see if anyone recognizes my recently acquired 1941 Plymouth P11 Business Coupe (VIN 22031197). It is by no means a show car but is what I have been looking for off and on for several years now since it closely resembles my very first car when I got my driver's license in 1963. From what was relayed to me by the three previous owners, it stayed in the same Kentucky family (Bischoff) from new until 2017 when the son of the original owner sold it to a couple from Owensville, Ohio after it had been parked in an under-the-house garage in Covington, Kentucky for over 30 years prior to coming out of "Hibernation". It is basically all original except for a repaint in the original black color sometime prior to being parked. The second owner brought it back to life and replaced the blackwall tires with new wide whitewall tires, replaced the fuel tank and fuel pump, and did some brake work and radiator repairs during his 4-year ownership.

If anyone has any information pertaining to the history of this coupe I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
