Several vendors sell what is called "chassis black", which I think is not as glossy as gloss and maybe not
as "dull" as satin.  Maybe this is what you are looking for.

Most paints come in Gloss, Satin and Matt, check with a good paint supplier.

What is a good under hood Paint to use in a 1948 special deluxe club coup. I don't want to use a shinny black paint.
