Thank you one and all for your kind responses!!  I ended up making the special tool to adjust the clutch over center spring.  Everything working good now except that I have a shudder with or without clutch engaged.  Had the flywheel turned with new clutch, pressure plate and t/o bearing.  Wondering now if the flywheel was checked for balance after getting the machine shop to turn it.  The new t/o brng is noisy as if it is dry.  Will wait until later this fall and get it pulled down and sort things out.  To clarify the shudder, it shakes the car whenever accelerated regardless if car is sitting still or driving it down the road.

Thanks again to all.

I have a pamphlet that shows everything pretty clearly, but I need your email to send as an attachment.

I do not own a P-15, but this is in my service manual.  Hope it helps.

Well if you think the p-18 would be the same, I could take pictures of mine which is up in the air right now doing all the brakes and lines.
I could send you what my linkage and spring is attached to .  The car was undercoated and everything is greasy. But I think the pictures would come out ok.

 Hello --

Would anyone out there happen to have a picture or 2 of the clutch t/o arm assy along with linkage and spring that operates the t/0 arm on a stock p-15??  My eng was removed and rebuilt and the p/o, I believe did not re-install the clutch linkage and return spring properly.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance.

Jim.
