I think the plugin <Clean Talk> killed a picture in my 1929U Restoration Thread.  I think the reason was that the name of the picture file is <Body_069.jpg.>  The picture, of course, is of my car's body.
Just an FYI...  Not a problem for me just letting you know.

Yeah... I can see that. I had all sorts of weird "naughty words" come up in another site especially when people were talking about drain valves.

I'll try it again here.

We had to move the site to a new server recently and that's probably what broke it. File paths are done manually. Sorry ... I tested to make sure things were working but I don't think I checked images. (The lighter side of the move is that the new server uses LiteSpeed so it's much faster than my Apache-based setup. The real reason was because we needed to do it for the changes to the rest of the site.)

It took me a while to dig out the setting, it's buried in a weird place, but I think I fixed it.

I have not been able to post any adds in the parts wanted/for sale area in I bet a year!  I gave up trying several months ago. BTW, it was simply a text add, no photo attachments....

Dr. Z is going to have to fix the problem - I know what it means - somehow the path of attachments, the place on the server where the files are stored, has changed or a link to it broken. I don't have access to the server - only DR. Z has that. He should have a copy of the alert and will look into it.

Tom,
I just tried posting this small photo again and get the same error message:  "Cannot access attachments upload path", but I don't know what that means.

Dr. Z,
I have also had problems with attaching a photo to a post, but i thought it was just me or something about the photo.
It was small - 128KB.

I recently installed an anti-spam plug-in ("CleanTalk"). It is not unheard of for these things to be overzealous, so please let me know if you have any problems making a post. (Sending me an email is ideal.)

The reason for installing it was an absurd number of patently false registrations; this deletes them without our having to do so. It also prevents those who registered successfully and were biding their time before flooding us with spam, from doing so. That's where the "false positives" are most likely to come in.

(Ideally I'd hold any message with a URL in it, but that's not easy to manage in these forums—generally, forum software doesn't make that sort of thing easy, no matter how much you pay.)
